Portuguese and Brazilian natural slate designs were blended to create our expressive style. This inspired classic slate texture allows for a more natural feel while the hard edges provide a more contemporary line. All of Handcrafted Stone slate textured concrete based tiles / pavers are designed to be flat on the back with more uniform thicknesses than natural slate. This allows for quicker installations and consistent results without compromising quality, durability and style.

APPLICATION:
Handcrafted Stone Specialty Slate textured tiles / pavers and other concrete based flooring, tile and pavers, may be used in light commercial and most residential applications, on existing substantial and sound new concrete bases or slabs, interior and exterior. Do not use De-Icing Agents that can etch the surface of concrete. (Check the manufacturer of the De-Icing Agent to see if it will affect concrete surfaces and their warranties). Some of these chemicals may damage the surface of concrete based Slate textured tiles / pavers and will void warranty. Can be applied over substantial sound wood floor with wonder board sub floor and a moisture barrier. Cracks need to be repaired for existing concrete, following industry standards, before installing Handcrafted Stone Slate textured tile / pavers product. FINISH:
All Slate textured tiles / pavers products are sold unsealed. A sealer is recommended after installation to protect the product and grouting. A penetrating masonry sealer is recommended to prevent staining of Slate textured tiles / pavers by other substances. Refer to Sealer manufacturer's specifications regarding application and maintenance.
